Our first step is collecting your car. Whether it’s parked in the driveway, broken down in a paddock, or stored in a garage, we’ll pick it up from anywhere across the Wellington region at no cost to you.
Step 2: Hazardous Materials Are Removed
Before dismantling begins, we drain the vehicle of all hazardous fluids:

These are either disposed of safely or recycled in accordance with NZ environmental guidelines.
Step 3: Dismantling for Reuse
We then carefully strip the car to retrieve usable parts, including:

Doors, panels, lights
These parts are either reconditioned for resale or recycled. Nothing reusable is wasted.
Step 4: Crushing and Shredding
The vehicle’s shell, once stripped of parts and fluids, is crushed and sent through a shredder. Metals like aluminium, copper, and steel are separated and reused in manufacturing.
Step 5: Rubber and Glass Recycling
Tyres are often shredded and repurposed for playground surfacing or road base. Glass from windscreens and windows is melted down and reused for insulation or other industrial products.
Step 6: Over 90% Recycled
We recycle over 90% of every car we process — one of the highest rates in the industry. This drastically reduces the environmental footprint of car disposal in the Wellington area.
